Michael Masterson

Doctor

Dr. Masterson graduated from the University of Louisville in 2016 where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). He was a recipient of the health professions scholarship from the US Army. Upon graduation he began serving our nation’s finest as a general dentist in the US Army. While in the military Dr. Masterson received advanced leadership training and led multiple dental clinics as the Officer in Charge (OIC). Dr. Masterson was also selected to serve within US Special Operations as a Senior Brigade Dentist where he taught and trained our nation’s elite Special Forces and Operations Soldiers. During his time in the military he received numerous awards including multiple Army Achievement and Army Commendation Medals. Dr. Masterson currently still serves in the Florida National Guard where he continues to provide dental care to our nation’s Soldiers.

Dr. Masterson is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and continues to strive to improve his skillset through continuing education. Dr. Masterson has taken advanced training in oral surgery, CAD/CAM, implants and numerous other disciplines.

Dr. Masterson enjoys the outdoors, the ocean, and all the great things Florida and Citrus County has to offer. He is honored and excited to serve the community of Crystal River.
